Alfonso Maestro is an Argentine writer living in Berlin. He wrote the first sentence you just read in the third person to inject it with more professionalism. He completed his undergraduate studies in literature and linguistics at the American and German departments of Rostock University and earned a Master’s degree in comparative literature from Free University Berlin with a study of French novelist Michel Houellebecq. After stints at Goethe-Institut Buenos Aires and publishing house Suhrkamp, the Fulbright and DAAD scholar started out in advertising at BBDO creating car campaigns. He moved on to Swedish tech company Klarna as a UX writer-designer before quitting his job to create Germany’s first adult animated show FRIEDEFELD with his pal T. Orion Brehmer. Bilingual in Spanish and German, he also writes in English.
